This web space is not a place of business. It is not sponsored by any studio or television production group. It is manned by fans and enthusiasts. We don't have all the images you might find in science fiction offerings from cable or TV networks, nor do we have schedules or complete listings of every show you might have interest in.

What we do have are interesting viewpoints about some of the recent sci-fi offerings, as well as some interesting looks back at classics. These pages include listings of the important matinee features that explore science fiction, going all the way back to the first silent films that dealt with the subject.

Our goal is to incite discussions on serious science fiction topics, works, and new ideas. In fact, to incite discussion, we have two long pages with our analysis of our favorite films and television programs. We'd really appreciate your looking this area over closely, and then give us your opinions by using the Comment hyperlink you'll see on most every page.

If you don't see what you're looking for here, there are other science fiction areas on the web.

What's New on The Science Fiction Gallery

November thru January have been our months for editing. Much to do, and little time to do it:). You might take a moment to look through our Comments files, they contain much up-to-date info on subjects discussed in The Science Fiction Gallery, including some very interesting opinions of our visitors. Most of the activity from here on out will be in the comments section.

October 20: We have added a "Text User" version of the home page for those folks who don't have imagemap (grapics navigation) capability or have slow datacomm connections and hate to wait for the large imagemap download.
September 24: We have modified the second SCI-FI TV graphic, September 24: We have modified the second SCI-FI TV graphic, adding V!, Earth 2 and Blakes 7 to our list of favorite TV shows, as well as reviews for each of these.
September 17: We have added a new section, British TV written by our guest editor Paolo Torchio, writing from Italy about his favorite SciFi TV programs on British Television.
August 19: We had hoped to have a new section dealing with Science Fiction in Literature ready by now. We have added the first page of text to be used in the analysis of a fairly extensive list of the important sci-fi literary works. Like other sections we will have a large graphic listing the titles and a one line description. For now, give us comments as inspired by the text.
July 27: We've added four new lists/sections to Science Fiction Gallery, "The Notables" and "New This Summer", Sci-Fi Themes, a quick listing of the popular themes in today's science fiction movies and/or television; and Box Office Heroes" a list of the actors who are some of the highest paid and most wanted in the film industry...all doing some pretty classy sci-fi films or TV series.
July 19: We've added a section on Japanese Anime. Thanks to all of you who sent in Email to help us figure out what to review as well as your comments. Surprisingly everyone commenting was pretty shy about having their name listed with the comments, so a special thanks to all the Mr or Ms. Anonymous' out there.
July 7: We have added links and data on Dr. Who, as well as the first two imagemaps for SCI-FI TV.
July 17: The Links on the image maps are, for the most part, now operational. However, a few are waiting on data entry.
