Note that most of the actors below can literally choose their scripts, being amongst the hottest stars in the industry. The fact that they continue to choose to do Science Fiction says a lot for the audience appeal, both for the actor, and for the subject matter. In some cases, Sci-Fi gave the actor their start, and most have chosen to repeat that experience:
