Oh, and if you're wondering why the Borg might have been qualified (as would Saberhagan's Berserkers if there were in film) since they may have started out as cyborgs, they are now
a race of their own and they are no longer 50% biological (exception might be
Hugh...but then we don't know, do we?). Anyway Tim's criteria is no Cyborgs.

stopped in late 1980s. The Daleks are genetically engineered biologicals with

- The Robot from the Dr. Who episode, Robot, first Tom Baker episode.
this robot was semi-autonomous, set on a mission and then away it goes.
- U.S. Air Force GNAT series of reconnaissance...semi-autonomous, are flown
off the ground and landed by human controllers, otherwise fly off to perform
a pre-planned mission which can include long hours of autonomous loitering.
- The Berserkers-- From Fred Saberhagan's Classic Novels...books don't count.
- The Six Million Dollar Man, Woman and Dog - Cyborgs
- Luke and Darth Vader - Star WarsArtificial Limbs make them like cyborgs
- Gun Fighter and others in West World remote controlled by a
central facility so they are not autonomous. However, they went out of control,
so this is a grey area case.
